2Watt 2.4Ghz PoE Amplifier/Booster

Overview
The APAG05PoE is a unique approach to the RF Power Amplifier. This unit is designed to function as an amplifier as well as transferring data over the same CAT-5e line that carries the DC power supply. This flexibility allows the APAG05PoE to be mounted in a very tight space.

This module uses the Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology designed for high power 2.4GHz ISM band. The applications in this band include WLAN, Bluetooth, Point to Point (P2P), and Point to Multi-Point (P2MP) systems. The Booster Module enhances the coverage and stabilizes the transmitted data rate of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) in both indoor and outdoor applications, such as 802.11b, 802.11b+, 802.11g and 802.11b+g.

For Tx, we use a proprietary high-power, high-efficiency, linear amplifier MMIC which is manufactured on an advanced Gallium Arsenide Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) to get low current consumption and better heat effect. In WLAN applications, it produces a continuous RF output power of 2000mW (+32 dBm) under the 802.11b spectral mask.
